BR 9/16/13
On Septmeber 15,1963 there were four little girls that were killed in an attack. Their names were Addie Mae Collin, Cynthis Wesley, Carole Robertson, and Denise Mcnair. They were all 14 years old except for Denise, she was only 11. A bomb was placed underneath the stairs of a church that killed all four of them, and took a different girls eye out. On Wednesday John Boehner awarded them a posthumous congressional gold medal. It will be kept in the Birmingham Civil Rights Institute.
