1.) I think that he should have been arrested becasue he was way to violent all because his son wouldn't look him the eye... He's three years old; what do you expect!? If he wanted to discipline he should have told him to look at him, or showed him what to do.
2.) The father admitted to doing it, so I guess that is good that he admitted to it, but he should have thought before he hit his three year old.
3.) This definitely would have been accepted in the 1950's because "proper grammer" was a priority then. Which is fine, but not for a three year old. I was glad to see this man get into trouble.
